Sony PlayStation 5 launching in India on February 2, pre-orders create January 12

The Sony PlayStation 5 unveiled in June 2020 went on sale in some markets from November 12, and it was required to arrive in India on November 19. But that didn't happened due to multiple reasons, and Sony didn't dedicated an exact date of release of the PS5 in the South Asian land as fans kept waiting for its arrival.

That goes today, as Sony announced that PlayStation 5 will inaugurate in India on February 2, with pre-orders causing live on January 12 on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and a bunch of anunexperienced retail partners.

The Digital Edition of the PlayStation 5 is priced at INR39,990 ($550/€450) in India, and you'll have to shell out INR10,000 ($135/€110) more for the Standard Edition, which comes with a disc drive.
